FORCE-GUIDED RELAY OPTION

Available from Scientific Technologies, the RM-2AC Resource Module allows solid state safety output signals to be converted to force-guided relay outputs.

Many E-Stop applications require the use of force-guided relays, where normally open and normally closed contacts are mechanically interlocked to ensure that both cannot be closed simultaneously.

The RM-2AC adds forceguided relay capability to many of STI’s solid state output devices, enabling users to assemble comprehensive, yet cost effective, machine safety solutions that meet stringent safety standards.

Self-contained, the unit’s 35mm DIN configuration needs just 150mm of panel space. The in-built power supply operates over a supply range of 100 to 240VAC.
