Chloride Motive Power is offering users of traction batteries a series of A4 safety posters for use in charging rooms.

The posters are free of charge and are encapsulated for longevity. In three versions, they detail operation and maintenance for lead-acid batteries, precautionary measures, and care instructions.

CMP aims to provide guidance on how to get the best from a traction battery. There are tips on charging, topping up, daily and weekly maintenance routines, using a hydrometer, common mistakes, identification of potential dangers, and remedial instructions in the event of an acid spill.
