Wolf Safety has been awarded two major contracts from the Ministry of Defence.

Two special versions of the primary cell powered Wolf ATEX safety torch will be used by the RAF where potentially explosive atmospheres might be present.

The TR-24+MOD yellow rightangle safety torch is being supplied to ground crew for inspection and maintenance of aircraft. Of compact, yet robust right-angle design, it has high output xenon main/spare bulbs and low battery power indicator. Its glow-in-the-dark lens ring minimises the risk of a torch being left in critical areas of an aircraft. Applications for the TR-24BMOD Aircrew’ right angle safety torch include pre-flight inspection of helicopters. Product colour and visibility requirements are different to those of ground crew. Specified in black, the torch allows use of coloured filters, masking any light that could otherwise leak through the back of the torch.
