The latest Safir Clean-Air Asbest powered respirator system from Chapman & Smith offers protection when handling asbestos. It can be used in three ways: Full system with the full-face mask connected by a flexible air hose to a motorised filtration unit that is carried on an adjustable waistband; Compact System with the turbo filtration unit fitted directly to the face-mask, without the use of the air hose or waistbelt; General Industrial System in a negative pressure mode, using a screw-in P3 filter cartridge mounted directly onto the face mask. This system can use any of the range the companys DIRIN EN148/1 screw-in filter cartridges.
