Information on radiation?

NRPB (National Radiological Protection Board) has updated its information on Working with Zircon Sands in the Radiation at Work series to take account of a wider range of materials containing natural radioactivity. It is available on the NRPB website: www.nrpb.org. It contains an introduction to radioactivity, types of radiation and Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (NORM). Printed single copies of Minerals Containing Natural Radioactivity, which opens out into a poster, are available free from the NRPB.
