Safety relays November 1st 2003 The latest safety relays from Euchner can serve fields of applications up to Category 4, EN954-1.
The company says the new ESM range can be relied upon to break electrical control circuits and, therefore, switch off any potentially hazardous machine functions. This is possible due to the continuous monitoring of all connected switchgear, including mechanical safety switches with or without guard-locking device, non-contact safety switches, two-hand controls, contact mats and other emergency stop switchgear.
The ESM switching system also ensures that machines are switched off and cannot be restarted in the event of internal machine defects.
The relay housing has a body width of just 22.5mm and is suitable for din rail mounting. There is the potential to install most combinations of time-delay and non-time delay safety contacts. More articles from Euchner (UK) Limited: |
