Safety First Aid has introduced a new eye wash that is made by Cederroth. The eye wash has a wall bracket that enables the solution to be opened and applied in one easy movement. The user simply twists the bottle from the bracket and then applies the solution. This means that the patient is able to apply the solution without delay, thus reducing the risk of injury. A specially designed eye cup directs as much fluid as possible to the injured eye, reducing spillage. The integrated dust cover keeps the cup clean at all times and doubles as an opening device. The product contains a buffered solution and is said to neutralise splashes from acids or alkalis while diluting and washing away dangerous substances.
