Quick to fix November 1st 2004 RUD Chains says only 50% of lifting operations use a hook at the end of the sling leg. The rest are ring assemblies, basket chains, round slings, and so on. For these operations, the user has to make time-consuming improvisations to effect a safe connection to a load.
However, with the new Power- Point Star system, common sling types can be quickly and safely attached without using additional elements, giving shock-free tilting, turning and twisting of the load.
This is achieved through a captive double ball bearing assembly. More articles from Rud Chains Limited: |
