Safety switches
September 1st 2005

Suitable for ATEX applications, new safety switches from Euchner (UK) have many of the tried-and-tested components found on standard switches, such as actuation heads and actuators. They also have the same mounting hole drill patterns.

Versatility can be achieved by using the TZ or TP switches (with guard locking) or the GP or NZ (without guard locking), depending on installation requirements. The CES non-contact safety switches with specially coded actuators are available with ATEX approvals.

The ATEX range can be supplied with various combinations of contacts, while dual-channel wiring is possible in all variants that have four contact elements, helping to ensures maximum operator safety.

Approvals are available for Zones 0/20, 1/22 and 2/22 for gas and dust.
