A new down-draught filter bench designed for sedentary working has been introduced by acs.

Suitable for continuous work, it has a frontal recess to provide leg room for the seated operator. A deflector is provided as standard to diffuse the exhaust air, preventing operator exposure to draught.

The bench is available in two sizes, affording a working width of 700 and 1320mm. The worktop can be supplied with slots or perforations to suit individual requirements. It is also available in stainless steel.

A spark arrestor/pre-filter and main dust filter are included. The three-sided surround prevents dust escaping into the factory, while a powerful fan with a capacity of 4000m3/h generates a high pick-up velocity of 1.5 to 2m/sec for the correct entrainment of dust.
