Warning cone November 1st 2004 Palletcap, the name of both the product and its supplier, was invented by Hayley Shirley. While working in overnight pallet distribution, she noticed how much time and money was being wasted as a result of damage caused by pallets being stacked on top of fragile items.
The solution she devised is a highly visible warning cone that attaches to the top of vulnerable freight, instantly identifying it as fragile, without the need for reading and interpretation of labels. Its presence tells fork lift operators to avoid loading anything on top of it.
The device is made from corrugated cardboard and comes flat-packed. More articles from Palletcap: |
