S.A. Equipment has launched an improved version of its Slam Hornet 24v lighting system for potentially explosive Zone 1 applications both on and offshore.

The new system has a more compact, portable and rugged transformer and latest specification Slam Hornet worklights to give high levels of safety, reliability and performance.

The transformer has a tough stainless steel casing with integral stainless steel carry frame and handles. Built-in shock absorbers enhance ruggedness. Input voltage is 110v or 240v with a low 24v voltage for four Slam Hornet Ex-rated worklights.

Each worklight has two high-efficiency 36w lighting tubes, that emit 5800 lumens in a 360 spread of light.
