Five rules

In a drive to keep safety at the front of the agenda, Chubb has launched a company-wide environmental H&S campaign to engage its employees, at all levels of its businesses and in all regions.

At the heart of the campaign are five cardinal rules that have been identified as having the highest potential to cause serious or fatal injury if violated. The five cover the identification and proper proceedures to be followed in confined spaces; the correct use of fall protection; electrical safety and the use of ground fault circuit interupters on all portable tools and electrical devices; hazardous energy protocols; and machine guarding.
