Hassle-free guarding

The V300 is the latest safety camera from SICK for machine guarding applications. Designed as a single box solution, the V300 is a practical camera solution for point of operation guarding, reducing the number of parts and installation time required by traditional safety light curtains. Suitable for rectangular openings and access points, the installation process is said to be easy. The V300 is mounted in the most convenient corner of the opening, the rugged reflector strip is applied along the two opposite adjacent lengths and then the teach button pressed.

The reflector strip forms a background target for the V300 and the device has a detection capability equivalent to a 20mm resolution light curtain. Fully equipped with Reset and External Device Monitoring (EDM) the V300 will interface with standard light curtain relays, SICK muting modules and controllers without any changes. The V200, for lower risk applications is due to be launched in the next few months.
