Identify risks

EnviroDerm Services offers a simple, yet effective system to help with workplace chemical risk assessment. Called BRANCH (Basic Risk Assessment for Chemical Hazards), it comprises a manual for the line manager and a form that takes him (or her) stepby- step through a decision tree to arrive at an assessment.

It requires some training and a full day of instruction by an EnvironDerm Services specialist will be provided.

The system is designed to help the line manager identify and assess risks from worker chemical exposure on a ‘first pass’ basis.

Information is then passed to the health and safety team for them to decide whether a particular task requires their direct involvement.
