Safety switch
September 1st 2004

A new STP safety switch from Euchner is designed for use in machine tools or other applications where extremely high locking forces are anticipated.

The device has a metal actuating head and an internal cam, ensuring that it can be used confidently where locking forces to 2500N are required.

The safety switch housing is made in glass fibre reinforced thermoplastic and is protection rated to IP67, making it suitable for use where there is coolant, cutting oil or lubricant.

Dual channel wiring for all versions ensures a high level of safety for both equipment and operators.

Suited to both OEM and retrofit applications, the compact housing (196 by 42 by 40mm) can be installed even where space is limited. Three cable entry points are provided.
