Charger room safety
November 1st 2006 A dedicated health and safety station from Chloride Motive Power is aimed at factories and warehouses that use traction batteries. The unit can be wall-mounted in the charger room and includes items to protect workers, as well as items for use in th event of an accident. The station contains essential clothing and equipment for use during maintenance and topping-up operations, including rubber gloves, gace visor, breathing masks, eyewash and soda ash to neutralise acid spills.
