A low cost solution to the problem of providing clean manufacturing zones is available from WorkPoint. Drawing extensively from the companys experience with down draught extraction technology, the AirScreen desk is a self-contained, guaranteed air quality, laminar upflow bench that needs no enclosure, no rooms and no special services. It simply plugs into a 13a supply. The desk provides selectable air quality up to laboratory grade at low cost. It is re-locatable, semi-modular and provides full sit-down knee space for comfortable working, productivity and precision. Its footprint is 1270 by 960mm with a work height of 840mm. A uniform flow of air at about 0.5m/sec is provided through the desk surface.
