Free chemical audit

Supplier of performance chemicals for industrial maintenance and production, LPS Laboratories, is offering maintenance and production engineers the chance to save money, space and time and meet safety requisites with a free of charge chemical audit. The audit, whcih identifies, categorises and assesses all of the production chemicals which a company is using, offers engineers an opportunity to reduce duplication, save storage space, consolidate suppliers and decrease admin.

The audit will not only identify products which are surplus to requirements, it will also give a financial forecast of the savings that could be made by consolidating poducts and suppliers.

A recent audit carried out by LPS revealed that a manufacturer was using thirty-one products from sixteen different suppliers, including three prohibited carcinogenic products. Following the audit, LPS was able to rationalise this down to just sixteen, legal and safe products from one supplier making a substantial overall cost saving on the company's chemicals bill.
