Laser sensor May 1st 2004 A new range of laser sensors from Erwin Sick covers a wide range of applications. The W190 range includes proximity, reflex and through-beam photoelectric switches for object detection.
All devices have a laser diode that emits a visible spot of light, simplifying alignment of the sensor, even to tiny targets. A pair of leds advises the user of the status of the sensor output and the laser during commissioning and operation.
Scanning frequencies range from 200 to 1000 times/sec, and the rapid response of all W190 sensors makes them suitable for high speed applications. More articles from Erwin Sick Ltd: |
