One solution, especially for minor splashes, is the self-contained, portable pressurised cylinder unit. The Hughes Safety Showers range includes units with capacities from 9 to 45l that can deliver copious quantities of water through handheld showers on flexible hoses. These can be used for eyes, face or body. The largest model also has a fixed eye and facewash attachment. The company can also provide a combined emergency shower and eyebath that is completely self-contained and mobile.
