A safety label printing system has been introduced by Clare Instruments for the fast and easy identification of ‘safe tested’ electrical appliances and hire tools.

The Desk ‘n’ Tag system enables staff to create highly durable cable wrap test tags. Integral software enables users to incorporate all test results, equipment ID, date of test and barcode ID on a distinctive label at the touch of a button.

Tags can be customised with company logo, address and website details.

As well as being linked for automatic use with the new SafeCheck 8 electrical safety tester, the printer can be configured for manual operation to enable the user to select pass or fail labels incorporating all test data.
