Dual purpose

The CR:821B from Cirrus Research is a Class 1 data logging sound level meter for environmental and occupational noise measurements.

It enables the measurement of Leq and LCPeak for compliance with the Noise at Work Regulations, with Deaf Defier3 software providing for the calculation of noise exposure at LEP,d. Octave band levels can be measured and the software will aid in the selection of appropriate PPE using a builtin database of 85+ hearing defenders and ear plugs.

The sound level meter will also measure Leq, Lmax, L10 and L90 for recording environmental noise levels and, when used with an outdoor measurement kit, noise levels can be measured and automatically logged for up to 14 days in any weather conditions.
