September 1st 2008 To address changes in the
entertainment industry resulting
from the Noise Directive, E·A·R ,
part of Aearo Technologies, used a
market survey company to find
what the issues were and ascertain
the type of solution needed. At the
same time sound-measuring
experts were sent into the
industry's work places to get a
better idea of what the levels were.
Consequently, E.A.R worked with
music venues and pub and club
chains to develop ClearE·A·R 20 –
a long-life, discreet product for the
entertainment industry.
