Silencer a protection mask with respiratory system was developed in close co-operation with Norwegian sandblasting companies after several of them had expressed concern about hearing damage among their employees. The aim was to develop a product that satisfied stringent Norwegian legal requirements with regard to noise reduction, while still being userfriendly and comfortable. Testing has shown that both goals have been achieved. Suitable for wear in sandblasting and UHP water-jetting tasks, Silencer is low-weight, rubber coated, offers noise reduction of 39dBA, and said to offer a high level of user comfort. Features include integrated hard hat, and airflow indicator. Peltor Optime III provides hearing protection.
