July 1st 2006 New noise at work legislation is coming into force, bringing changes to many workplaces throughout the UK. Old regulations have been superceeded by new levels lowering the limiting or action levels to 80dB, bringing an estimated additional two million workers into the zone requiring immediate action by employers.
