New course July 1st 2007 Under the Control of Noise at Work
regulations, effective from April
2006, hearing tests are mandatory
for everyone above the upper
action value and advised for
employees who may be at
particular risk of hearing loss.
To help companies achieve this,
First Stop Safety has introduced a
one-day Industrial Audiometry
workshop that covers many
aspects of hearing tests, including
Otoscopy, use of manual
audiometers and PC-based
devices. delegates will be able to
practice on different types of
audiometers and get to grips with
HSE recommendations.
The first course will be in York in
September and will count towards
