Noise check service
January 1st 2007 Regulations covering both noise at work and the environmental impact of industrial plant require noise assessments to be made from time to time to demonstrate compliance. This presents problems in those industries where intrinsic safety (IS) requirements apply to electronic instrumentation used for these measurements. Campbell Associates operates a sound and vibration instrumentation instrument hire service that is used extensively by both Health and Safety Environmental Control professionals. This service is now being extended to cover the petrochemical, mining and allied industries where IS controls apply by adding both noise dose meters and sound level meters with the necessary certifications for use in hazardous areas.
