Occupational noise kit simplifies assessments

some workers who are
constantly on the move and
some who stay put for an entire shift,
Casella CEL has developed an
Occupational Health and Safety
Noise Kit with both a sound level
meter and noise dosimeter.
The compact CEL-620 colour
screen octave band analyser has a
display that gives results on a clear
colour-coded display and is easy to
use. All measurements from simple
'point and shoot' readings to full
industrial hygiene assessments can
be performed without special
training. The CEL-620 measures up
to 140dB without adjusting its range
and measures all occupational noise
parameters simultaneously without
the need to manually reset.
The CEL-350 dBadge dosimeter is
small and weighs just 68 grams. It
needs no microphone cable and can
be worn and forgotten. It measures
all occupational noise parameters, as
well as the time history of an
