'Really' new
November 1st 2005 Castle Group says that in its new Pro-DX Vocis handheld sound level meter every component is new; nothing has been used from the company's other meters.
Three variations are offered: one for industrial noise, one for environmental noise, and a multifunction unit. All are weather and dust-proof and have measurement templates for simple set-up and data logging.
With capability of up to half a gigabyte of memory and A-HPD (Advanced Hearing Protector Database), the system has plenty of power. The range includes real time 1/1 and 1/3 octave band measurements, multiple parameters and a high level of flexibility.
For Noise at Work risk assessments, Vocis will simultaneously measure 'A' and 'C' weighted Leq, LcPeak and Parallel Octave bands. One measurement will give all the information needed. More articles from Castle Group Limited: |
