Electrical safety labelling
July 1st 2007

Clare Instruments has introduced a special safety label printing system for the fast and easy identification of safe tested electrical appliances and hire tools.

The Desk Test 'n' Tag label printing system enables test engineers, quality control personnel and service and repair workshop staff to create highly durable cable wrap test tags. The integral Desk Test 'n' Tag software enable users to incorporate all test results, equipment ID, date of test and bar code ID on a distinctive label at the touch of a button. In addition, the tags can be easily customised to add individual company logos, address and website details. As well as being linked for automatic use with the new SafeCheck 8 electrical safety tester, the printer can also be configured for manual operation to enable the user to select pass or fail labels incorporating all test data. This makes the Desk Test 'n' Tag suitable for upgrading existing Clare equipment, including the B255 power tool tester.
