Heavy duty July 1st 2006 Smith Francis Tools has been manufacturing the Priory brand of scaffolding tools for four generations. All spanners are manufactured under a quality assurance system that sees each and every spanner inspected and tested by hand and bearing a unique code referencing it back to its batch giving full accountability back to the bespoke steel grade from which the product is manufactured.
When working at heights, safety takes on even more importance and a scaffolder needs a reliable spanner to ensure the hundred of critical tightening nuts are correctly secured.
The latest addition to the range is a super heavy-duty rivetless scaffold spanner. This is the strongest spanner Smith Francis have ever produced. The socket is broached from alloy steel and machined to exacting tolerances. The ergonomically designed handle is also alloy steel and the two components are retained by a high tensile fastener.
