Light curtain

A SOLID-4E safety light curtain from Leuze Mayser can be used for protection in arduous conditions. Whether it is accidental collision (catered for by strong, torsionally stiff housing) or high immunity from EMC disturbance, protection is provided against intrusion into hazardous areas.

Trouble-free performance is complemented by a choice of four standard resolutions – 20, 30, 40 and 90mm – making Solid 4E a flexible solution for hazardous point protection or area protection across many applications.

These can include finger and hand protection at presses and stamping machines for the metal, leather and plastic industries or at manual inserting areas of automated manufacturing cells.

The Solid 4E has two different and adjustable light-beam codings.

This eliminates potential optical corss-talking of neighbouring devices, ensuring reliable protection.
