Safe docking
January 1st 2006

A free-standing weatherproof docking station is available from Transdek UK and can be adjusted in less than a minute to suit a variety of vehicle heights.

The equipment consists of a heavy duty steel frame supporting a deck with a pair of hydraulic arms at one end that can be raised and lowered to suit vehicles with floor heights from 700 to 1500mm above the ground. A tongue extends over tail lifts to provide a safe surface for moving goods in and out.

The deck is made from heavyduty chequer plate with anti-slip coating and typically provides a 3 by 3m working area.
