Choice of sound level meters

Two sound level meters from Testo give high accuracy readings (class 2 to IEC 60651) suitable for workplace measurements.

Such accuracy is achieved by selectable sound level measuring ranges. Both the 815 and 816 instruments offer the choice of fast or slow sampling rates and the user can choose between two different frequency spectrums, A and C, where A corresponds to the hearing sensation of the human ear and C can be used when there are many low frequencies in the signal, such as engines.

The Testo 816 has additional features for ease of use. These include display illumination, trend bar display, mains connection and AC/DC outlet for connection to devices such as amplifiers and chart recorders.

A sound level calibrator is available to ensure the ongoing accuracy of the meters.
