Flip-up helmet for welders
July 1st 2010 A new flip-up welding helmet has
been introduced by ESAB. Called
Globe-Arc, it has a hybrid shell made
from Zytel material, offers full head
and face protection and is
lightweight.
The helmet's compact design
allows the wearer to weld in tight
spaces, while reducing visible light
entering the back of the helmet
caused by other welding light.
The visor has an upper retention
stop which eliminates visor dropdown
when welding or grinding.
The visor provides effective
protection from UV and IR
radiation. A wide field of vision is
afforded through the large main and
