Full face protection September 1st 2007 A new flow computer from Spirax
Sarco provides accurate
monitoring of saturated or
superheated steam consumption,
providing a simple and versatile
way to help monitor energy costs.
The M800 takes a 4-20mA
signal from a range of pipeline
transmitters and converts it into
flowrate, total flow, pressure and
temperature readings. Users can
choose whether to display flow
calculations in terms of mass of
steam or energy flows. Metric and
imperial units are offered. A 4-20mA
output enables re-transmission of
data to a chart recorder or BMS.
The display can be set to show
trends in graphical form.
The M800 works with the
company's Gilflo, ILVA and DIVA
variable area flowmeters, as well as
other linear devices
Full face protection
The new Draeger X-plore 6000
range of full face masks is said to
combine quality and reliability with
comfort and ease of use.
As successors to the Panorama
Nova Standard threaded mask, the
range is available in five different
versions and features an integral
bar code and a variety of new
colours. Suitable for use in any
application requiring reliable
respiratory protection and clear
vision, the masks are fully
compatible with all Rd40 standard
thread filters, as well as powered
air purifying respirators and normal
pressure compressed air breathing
apparatus. The new integral
barcode means that not only is the
mask identifiable and more
hygienic in use, but it can also be
easily tracked for inventory and
maintenance purposes.
Available in one universal size
and featuring a triple sealing
action, the X-plore 6000 range also
benefits from a double-layered face
seal to offer high protection for
every type of face. Robust in
design and available in either
EPDM or silicone, the mask body
incorporates a stainless steel
speech diaphragm for effective
communication and also features a
5-point head harness for quick and
easy donning and removal. More articles from Draeger Safety UK Limited: |
