Health and safety in hand
January 1st 2007 Hand protection specialist, Ansell, will present its latest innovations for industry at Health+Safety 07. Ansell provides targeted solutions for problems of grip or sweaty hands, exposure to extreme cold or chemical products and the manipulation of very small objects. Amongst the new products presented during the exhibition is the AlphaTec glove, which provides an advanced wet/oily grip. This glove, which features Ansell Grip Technology (1), requires from 34-69% less grip force to lift heavy oily objects.(2) In partnership with the University of Birmingham, Ansell has demonstrated the reduced necessity for exertion associated with this innovative coating. Improved grip can contribute to preventing the onset of occupational injuries such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS), and minimising worker fatigue and stress.
