Keep people under cover March 1st 2007 3M Occupational Health and Environmental Safety, a reputable supplier of Personal Protective Equipment to the UK market, has announced the launch of a new range of Protective Coveralls The introduction of these high performance Protective Coveralls will complete 3M's quality product offering in this market. A protective coverall will often be used in conjunction with a respirator and other protective equipment. Therefore, customers can now rely on 3M to provide a more complete safety solution. Prior to the January 1st launch, 3M has already won a contract with a high profile car manufacturer, to provide the Protective Coveralls for paint spraying applications. The range has been designed to ensure that the wearer will stay protected, whilst the breathable soft fabrics ensure the wearer remains comfortable. A unique triangle design is featured on the back of each suit to identify the coverall as 3M. The products in the 3M Protective Coveralls range have certain core features: Elasticated hood, waist and ankles for convenient safe wear and freedom of movement Two-way zip with re-sealable flap for extra convenience and protection from contaminants Knitted cuffs for increased wearer comfort Reinforced gusset for increased robustness Disposable protective coveralls such as these are used extensively in the workplace for a variety of tasks; from guarding against simple dust to protection from harmful toxic chemicals or infectious body fluids. It is suitable for biological protection (meets EN14126). It also features a re-sealable chin cover to help ensure a proper seal when used in combination with respirators.
