New bumpcap
March 1st 2009 New from PPE specialist JSP, the
HardCap A1+ offers protection and
comfort in what JSP describes as an
unexpectedly fashionable design.
The level of impact protection
offered by HardCap A1+ exceeds the
requirements of the EN812:1997-
A1:2001 amended variant of the
standard for Bumpcaps, by shielding
significantly more of the head than is
stipulated. The amended standard
states that impact protection must be
provided at four specific locations –
front and back at both 30 and 60°
from the crown of the head. The
HardCap A1+ offers protection at
these four areas, but also guards
against bumps and scrapes to the side
of the head, thanks to its increased
internal coverage pad.
The HardCap A1 is available in
several colour combinations, including
