New format skin protectant

Dispensed in a new format as an easy-to-apply mousse, Derma Shield skin protectant is nongreasy and bonds automatically to the skin, forming a protective shield while allowing the skin to breathe and perspire normally.

After application, the protective layer will remain on the skin despite repeated washing, which means re-application is required only after 4 to 5h.

Manufactured by Benchmark Technologies, the product is said to be more than a pre-work or after-work cream and is suitable for use underneath gloves to help prevent allergies and adverse effects.

The company points out that Derma Shield can be used on any area of the skin, so that should PPE fail for some reason, the wearer will be afforded emergency protection, gaining them extra time to get to an irrigation station.
