Small success January 1st 2004 Casella CELs noise Dosimeter Badge was developed after the company received calls from users asking it to reduce the size of personal samplers and, if possible, eliminate use of cabling.
The CEL 310 Dose Badge (hardly bigger than a lapel badge) clips onto clothing or a helmet. It monitors noise exposure, giving an infrared download of data to a reader capable of storing results from 999 badges, and software that lets individual exposure levels be collected in the data base.
