Anti-fatigue matting
January 1st 2008 The National Marine Aquarium in
Plymouth has installed Jaymart's
Safe-T-Zone extra heavy rubber,
anti-fatigue duckboard matting in
its interactive areas.
The matting is supplied in
interlocking modules 915 by 915
by 16mm thick. It is made from
extra resilient grease-proof (brick
red) or grease-resistant (black)
rubber qualities for easing the
fatigue of long-standing jobs in, for
example, industrial applications
commercial kitchens, and food
service areas in canteens,
restaurants and supermarkets.
The surface texture and built-in
drainage is said to reduce the risk
of slip and fall accidents. The
cushioning rubber helps reduce
breakages to glass and so on.
Safe-T-Zone is hardwearing and
resists sharp objects. It is also said
