Fast-track extension
January 1st 2008 of outsourced, on-site mill
services to the global steel
and metals industries,
needed an extension to its
facilities in Scunthorpe, it
opted for a package from
SGB Rovacabin.
The company designed
and installed a range of sixbay
modular units and
cabins, which delivered a
fast track building solution.
The complex incorporates
office accommodation,
drying rooms, showers,
toilets and meeting facilities.
Combining Rovacabin's
modular units and cabins
can provide a cost effective
way to extend – requiring
groundwork and foundations
to be carried out for the
modular sections. Cabins
can be laid directly to the
ground or deck.
Provision of water,
electrical and sewage
services can be undertaken,
and individually tailored
inspection and maintenance
packages can be arranged.
Rovacabin units can be
linked horizontally or
stacked up to three high,
and are said to be vandalproof
