The latest additions to the Bacou- Dalloz Howard Leight ear protection range are the Matrix and Smart-Fit earplugs that address two key issues for wearers: optimum long-term comfort; and noise filtration that allows the wearer to hear

The earplugs do not need rolling before insertion. Their dual density foam is said to give a better fit and affords instant protection against harmful noise, while still letting speech frequencies through. This enables the wearer to communicate easily with colleagues and to hear alarms or warning signals

The Smart-Fit earplug uses the latest conforming materials technology to adapt its shape to the wearer’s ear. It does this by responding to body heat. The result is said to be a superb, custom-like fit from an off-the-shelf product

For applications where there is the risk of contamination by foreign objects, Smart-Fit is offered in a metal detection version.
