No lifting
March 1st 2005

A new style of pallet changer has been added by Airflow Refrigeration Spacers to its range of pallet manipulation machines.

The SR1P inverter ensures that pallets can be changed quickly without the need for lifting. Due to the special design of the V-shape on the Airflow inverters, the company says there is no need for additional clamping of product.

This ensures that the cost of the machine is kept low.

It is still possible to gain access to the product when the unit is inverted to remove freezer spacers or to attend to a damaged layer of product. The safety cell of the V design means the machine does not have to be cordoned off.
