The HSE recently revised its guide to preventing slips and trips on wet floors. According to the HSE, if you follow this guide you will normally be doing enough to comply with the law. According to the guide, you should: Clean spills immediately. Don’t leave floors wet after cleaning - clean them to a complete dry finish if at all possible.
