Coating with anti-slip benefits
September 1st 2007 Protecta-Kote from Formbar is a
hardwearing, anti-slip protective
coating for commercial and
industrial environments. Using a
polyurethane base and recycled
tyre granules instead of traditional
grit particles it is said to be tough,
resilient and durable, yet
comfortable and nonabrasive.
It is water and weather resistant,
flexible and resistant to acid, petrol,
diesel and most chemicals. It also
helps to prevent rusting.
Applied manually by brush, roller
or by spray gun Protecta-Kote
chemically bonds to most clean and
dry surfaces including concrete,
wood, fibreglass, metal, rubber and
sound painted surfaces. It also
bonds to itself making it repairable
for a long and reliable life. There is
no mixing of components so there is
no inconsistency or room for error.
It dries quickly to minimise
downtime and can be used both
indoors and outdoors.
