Demand for access training May 1st 2006 Following the introduction of the new Work at Height Regulations, AFI Aerial Platforms reports a surge in demand for its powered access, mobile access tower and safety harness training courses.
AFI has seen big increases in bookings for its IPAF powered access operator courses and PASMA mobile access tower training courses in particular, and has increased its training resources to meet the demand.
The company is also taking part in a scheme that offers discounts to people attending training courses to gain their PAL (Powered Access Licences) Card issued by IPAF.
There has also been increased demand for courses which cover the safe and appropriate use of harnesses.
AFI recently added a Manual Handling Awareness course it its portfolio.
