New safety netting solution

A new safety netting solution has been introduced by Combisafe International Europe to meet the requirements of different roof designs and sizes and in response to the European Performance Standard for Temporary Edge Protection. This sets specific technical performance criteria for all temporary edge protection systems, irrespective of height, span or the material from which they are made.

The new Net Barrier System is said to satisfy all such criteria. It is a flexible edge protection solution and, when combined with internal safety netting, provides a standardfulfiling cocoon within which the roofer can operate in safety.

It spans up to 10m between supports to accommodate large bay sizes and covers overhangs of more than 1.5m, combining the fall arrest needs of the overhang with the edge protection provision.

Roofers must use the access points built into the Net Barrier System for both men and materials.
